Christmas TV Picks

Being a bit of a telly addict one of the most exciting bits about Christmas for me is the tv. And to make sure I make the most of it I like to make sure I plan my viewing very thoroughly.

Below are some of the tv and films on the box this year that I'm looking forward to tuning in to.

The Snowman Christmas Eve, Channel 4, 8pm
A secret to the wonderful original snow with a cute little dog.

Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Day, BBC One, 6.15pm
All sorts of new surprises are in store for the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing. Some celebrities will be failing hilariously whilst others will be gliding effortlessly across the floor. Past contestants will be back and there will no doubt be glitter all over the show!

Downton Abbey Christmas Day, ITV1, 8.45pm
Although strangely the Christmas episode isn't actually about Christmas and instead the Crawleys are on their summer holidays there is no doubt going to be Victorian aged scandal!

Animated Films

Lady And The Tramp Christmas Eve, BBC One, 5.05pm
A classic Disney film for Christmas. adorable dogs one with a Scottish accent. Perfect for a quiet Christmas Eve afternoon.

Toy Story Christmas Day, ITV1, 1.05pm
The original Toy Story film is clearly the best and despite being released over 10 years ago is still a classic you can watch time and time again.

Tangled Christmas Day, ITV1, 3pm
Only release in 2010 Tangle is another Disney classic for Christmas Day afternoon.

Kung Fu Panda Sunday 23rd December, BBC Three, 8.35pm
The adorable tale of a fat little panda who overcomes his anxieties and prooves himself as a Kung Fu master to save his small village. Voiced by Jack Black as a the panda it's a cute little story for a Sunday evening.

Superstars Saturday 29th December, BBCOne, 6.45pm
The classic show is back with an Olympic special which is something I am particularly excited about. Mo Farah and other Olympians from the Summer will be taking part in the gameshow.

Royle Family Christmas Special Christmas Day, BBC1, 9.45pm
The Royle's are reunited again for another Christmas in front of the tv. Plot details released promise that Dave will be preparing for a trip into the Dragon's Den!

What are you looking forward to this year?
